Cardinal Place, a large commercial development in London's Victoria, has a vast reception area and within this is a café built for workers on the entire estate. Hat-Trick Design was briefed to create the name and branding of this café, including signage, wall graphics, crockery and other collateral. The cardinal bird was the designers' inspiration as this reflects the name, bringing vibrancy and activity to the brands. Graphics were applied to vinyl allowing the birds to 'move' around the area over time. The team comprised creative directors Gareth Howat, David Kimpton and Jim Sutherland and designers Adam Giles, David Jones and Mark Wheatcroft.
