Barclays UK Retail Bank by Start Creative
Barclays briefed Start Creative to develop a range of posters and screen-based communications to create 'conversation starters' for the Barclays brand campaign. The campaign aims to overcome customers' inertia with a simple offer of help at the right moment, using the strapline 'Take one small step'. The idea was to create a positive background at a time of economic uncertainty. Start used a series of illustrations - by freelance illustrators including Richard Hogg, Marcus Walters, James Joyce, Jamie Brown, Andy Miller and Rory Mitchell - to represent the content of a conversation without words.
