Manchester City Football Club asked Music to bring the club's positioning statement 'This is Our City' to life. The idea was to focus on the supporters, who, unlike those of its 'international' rival Manchester United, were more likely to live in the city. Music refreshed the brand style, using existing assets such as the club crest and colour, to create a distinctive tone of voice that would appeal to the fans - from ticketing campaigns that reacted to talk on the terraces, to stadium branding that rewards the 22 000 season ticket-holders by wrapping their names on the turrets.
