Lindow Man: a bog body mystery by The Manchester Museum

The Manchester Museum was given the opportunity to borrow Lindow Man from the British Museum at the start of 2008. A body of a person was found during peat extraction at Lindow Moss, Cheshire, in 1984, a major archaeological discovery. The exhibition was developed in collaboration with the people involved in the original dig and a forensic scientist. Different layers of information were brought forward, which created the concept for the design.
