The interactive design house Magnetic North came up with the idea of Mixa, which aims to stop people hiding music and other digital material on their hard drives. The Mixa is a 1GB USB cassette where consumers can create their own memory box of music, photographs and digital files. It was launched in October 2007 with the website www.makeamixa.com
