Jao Tech set out to create a hygienic bedside multimedia terminal for hospital patients. The aim of the new design is to withstand deep cleaning by hospital staff and give patients safe access to television, phone and Internet through a user-centred touch-screen interface. Jao Tech's internal design team simplified the enclosure, reduced external recesses for ease of cleaning and improved usability, making the terminal less intimidating and more accessible for patients.
