The Royal Mail Group approached Hat-Trick Design to create a set of stamps to celebrate the work of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, Royal National Lifeboat Institute and other partners. The stamps feature photographs showing a range of rescue situations from stations across the UK. Colour is restricted to reflect the tough marine conditions and the stamp perforations have been altered to represent the Morse code. Photography is by Nigel Millard, John Periam and Eleanor Driscoll.
