Design Week Awards 2009
Special mention: Corus Fresh Flower by Tonkin Liu

Corus and the London Festival of Architecture commissioned architect Tonkin Liu to create a moveable structure to express the festival theme 'Fresh'. The result was a bright yellow voluminous petal pavilion named Corus Fresh Flower. During the day the 11 large petals caught the sunlight, and at night the lights at the central stalk illuminated. The judges felt this was an incredible installation.
