The From the House to the City exhibition was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Pompidou Centre. The centre approached Lord Rogers to curate a show comprising a detailed survey of his work as one of the co-architects when the Pompidou Centre first opened in 1977. He worked on this with Ab Rogers Design and the Pompidou's own curator Olivier Cinqualbre. The exhibition was arranged in colourcoded sections and nine themes were chosen to reflect the design principles.
