Pippa studied architecture at Cambridge University and Theatre Design at the Slade School of Fine Art. She has taught design for the last 20 years, at Kingston University and is currently a Design Fellow at Cambridge University. She started Nissen Richards Studio in 2010 with Jim Richards with a view to establishing an arts based multi-disciplinary studio. The practice is now 27 people, and made up of architects, graphic designers, Interpretation specialists, and designers. Recent work for the British Museum, The British Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, Philips de Pury, British Council, The National Trust, Imperial War Museum, The Courtauld Institute of Art, The Natural History Museum and Science Museum.
